Data Protection Policy

1. Introduction

L'Reus City Council is the Responsible for the Treatment as the owner responsible for the service provided by the Child and Adolescent Care Team (EAIA).

2. Identification

The City Council of Reus, with NIF P-4312500D, with address at Plaça del Mercadal, 1, (43201), Reus is Responsible for the Processing of video surveillance data. 3. Categories of personal data

Reus City Council collects and processes the following categories of data from the interested party:

  • Identification data: name, surname, ID, email address, telephone number, postal address and signature.
  • Personal characteristics data: sex, date of birth, registration certificate, certificate of coexistence of the family nucleus, court documents, school reports.
  • Data of social circumstances: type of accommodation or housing, lifestyles.
  • Economic or financial data: economic income
  • Employment data: profession
  • Sensitive data: health card, reduction certificate, medical reports, addictive substance consumption analytics, psychopedagogical reports, criminal records.

5. Exercise of data protection rights

You can exercise the following data protection rights free of charge: right of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation and portability of your data, the right not to be the subject of a decision based solely on the automated processing of your data personal; as well as the right to revoke consent and to file a claim with the Catalan Data Protection Agency, especially if you consider that an irregularity has been committed in the processing of your data. Reus City Council will not carry out automated decisions or create profiles with your personal data.

6. Transfer of data and international transfers

The City Council of Reus, mainly, will be the one to process your data. However, it will communicate them to the General Directorate of Child Care and Adolescence (DGAIA), competent Courts and Tribunals, as well as the Public Prosecutor, the Department of Justice of the Generalitat of Catalonia, basic social services of the City Council of Reus, SINI@ agents, extended family integration services (SIFE), Primary Care Centers (CAP) and other competent administrative bodies and judicial authorities. Reus City Council will not transfer your personal data to a third country or international organization outside the European Union.

7. Obligation to provide data

To comply with the obligations established in Law 14/2010, of May 27, on the rights and opportunities in childhood and adolescence, it is necessary to provide your data.

In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the protection of personal data, we inform you that your data will be incorporated into a computerized file for processing and to facilitate communication and/or for the specific management of your request. The person responsible for the file is the Reus City Council, which guarantees confidentiality in the treatment of the personal data that is collected, as well as the implementation of the technical and organizational measures that guarantee their security. In addition, the City Council undertakes not to transfer them to third parties without the explicit consent of the user, except when necessary to carry out the requested management or when required by law. You can go to the Office of Citizen Assistance to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition of your personal data.
