Bartrina Theater

View of the stage of the Bartrina theater

The Bartrina Theater was built in 1905 as a theater for the Reading Center. After various vicissitudes, it was rehabilitated in 1995. It has a capacity for 550 people.

Currently, the theater is managed by the Batrina Theater Consortium, formed by Reus City Council and the Reading Centre. The program is proposed by the Artistic Commission currently made up of Lluís Pasqual, Ramon Gomis and Xavier Graset.

The Bartrina Theater accommodates everything from large state or national productions to children's theater performances or activities of a more avant-garde or civic nature.
