Acoustic control
Town councils have tools to control atmospheric pollutants, which include noise pollution. Two of these resources are the Acoustic Capacity Map, which establishes the acoustic sensitivity of each area of the city and defines noise limits based on its sensitivity. On the other hand, the Strategic Noise Map represents on the map the noise levels recorded in each street and therefore describes the existing acoustic situation.
All councils have the obligation to draw up and approve the acoustic capacity map and make it available to the population.
