Business, employment and innovation

The city of Reus has a variety of resources in the field of entrepreneurship, training and employment, which are mainly channeled through the public capital company Redessa, the city council itself and the Municipal Institute of Training and Company Mas Carandell and the IMFE Mas Carandell Foundation.

Thus, the Redessa company offers more than 70.000 m2 in infrastructure, while also providing support services for the creation of companies, such as information and advice or accounting, tax and labor management.

Reus City Council also offers specific lines of promotion of entrepreneurship: aid for the creation of new companies, internationalization and dynamization programs and support for the main economic sectors of the city, among others. Likewise, business updating and innovation activities are carried out.

Mas Carandell designs and executes employment policies and has in its portfolio of services both continuous training offers for companies, in order to promote the updating of knowledge and adaptation to the environment, as well as courses and programs for basic and occupational training.

In addition to the availability of public resources for the creation of companies and for training, in this section of the website you can also consult the public offer of employment and the profile of the contractor or contests and tenders currently open .
