Immigration and new citizenship
The social and demographic reality of the city has changed over the years. The arrival of new citizens has modified the social environment of our city and, given these changes, the City Council has developed municipal policies and actions to promote the integration of people of foreign origin, social cohesion and coexistence in the city.
This diversity poses new challenges for all citizens, in various areas of action, which opens up a new axis of work towards an active and socially cohesive city that advances towards equal duties and rights.
The Population Register Office is the free service of the Reus City Council that offers information and management of municipal procedures relating to the population register, being the window through which you must register in Reus. Registering serves to prove your residence in the city and facilitates access to healthcare, schools and other services.
Do you need to register in the population register? Do you need to renew it or modify your data? Do you need to provide supporting documentation? There is a space on our website to easily find all the registration procedures and resolve any doubts you may have:
