Meeting of Children's Choirs

Purposes

  • Facilitate a meeting point between choirs and give opportunities to perform in public.
  • Publicize the Reus Prize for Composition, promote its use and relate the meeting to the events of the call and award ceremony.

 

Activities

  • The choirs offer individual performances in different venues in the City with free entry. Previously, they offer a taste of their repertoire in open spaces (squares and various corners of the historic center of Reus)
  • The organization promotes the attendance of the choirs as spectators of the performances of other choirs.
  • At the end of the Meeting, all the choirs sing a common song that is previously sent to the participating entities. During this event, one year the Composition Award is announced, and the other year the awards are handed out.
