The public employment offer is the ratio of civil service and labor positions that the City Council needs to fill. The usual selection procedures are the opposition and competition-opposition. In opposition, the opponent must pass the tests established in the call. In the contest-opposition, you must pass the corresponding tests and also have previously certain conditions of training, merits or duly accredited experience.
During the period indicated in the announcement of the call, people who meet the conditions required for admission to the public service and those specifically indicated in the call can start the procedure. Interested persons must complete the application for participation, attach the documentation requested in the specific bases and pay the amount of the fee (or prove the exemption).
In order to prove professional experience, some type of document must be provided showing the start and end date of the employment relationship, as well as the professional category. If working life is provided, it must be accompanied by documents certifying the category. In employment relationships it is advisable to provide the official company certificate model. You can also provide the latest salary receipt showing seniority and category. To certify work in the public sector, a certificate of services provided must be provided. The number of hours or the value in credits must be stated in the certificates of the training courses.
The application can be presented in person at the general register of the Reus City Council (OAC - Plaça Mercadal, 1), where the fee can be paid at the same time, or by post, attaching- the application and the documentation and certifying the payment or exemption of the fee.
The application can be submitted by a person other than the applicant, but must provide all the necessary documentation as well as the application completed and signed by the applicant.
Once the deadline for submitting applications ends and the fulfillment of the requirements is verified, the Human Resources department publishes a provisional list of those admitted and excluded, and a period of 10 days is given to correct the deficiencies and/or provide documentation. The same resolution includes the composition of the court, the place, date and time of the beginning of the exercises and order of action of the people who participate. Finally, the definitive list of admitted and excluded is published both on the notice board and on the municipal website.
When the selection process ends, the court will publish on the notice board of the Corporation and on the municipal website. The final score of the selective tests and the list of people who passed by score card. The court will not be able to approve or declare that they have passed the selective tests, a higher number of applicants than the number of places called for. The proposed applicants will submit to Human Resources the supporting documents specified in the call for proposals, within 20 calendar days, from the publication of the list of approved persons. At the end of the process, the court will raise the list of approved persons, together with the minutes of the last session, which will make specific reference to the aspirant or aspirants selected for the Presidency of the Corporation, who will formulate the relevant appointment.
