R07: How to get there
The starting point is the sports games area on the corner between Carrer Modest Gené and Avinguda de Marià Fortuny. From Carrer de Modest Gené we go to Carrer de Pere de Lluna, just at the first crossroads, and follow it until we find Carrasco i Formiguera, also at a crossroads, which will take us to the square of Abbot Oliba. From this point, we will continue in a southerly direction along Carrer de Sant Antoni M. Claret until we reach Plaça d'Horts de Miró, where we will continue along Carrer de l'Aigua Nova, and a few meters further along Carrer de M. Antònia Peris until you reach Avinguda de Tarragona. We leave behind the view of the bell tower that frames the entrance to the city at this point and continue along Avinguda Marià Fortuny in a southerly direction, passing by the gas station. We continue a few meters until we find the Gas Reusense smokehouse. At this point we will cross President Macià avenue through the pedestrian crossing and continue along Carrer de Sol i Ortega. On the right we will leave the Plaça de Pau Picasso and the facilities of the Municipal Mortuary.
We continue along Carrer de Sol i Ortega until the roundabout that connects to the Mas Abelló bridge. At this point we turn right onto Carrer del Treball and continue until we cross Avinguda de Bellissens. We will find a sculpture of a sundial. Just on the other side, we will find the junction with Avinguda de Josep Pla, on the left, which we will continue down, following the tracks of the train track. On the right, we will leave the facilities of the Mas Iglesias municipal field, those of the Eduard Toda School and a little further down the building of the Roseta Mauri Institute, which we will recognize by the yellow color of the walls. We continue down until we reach the sports area at the crossroads with Carrer de Jaume Vidal Alcover. On the other side of the roundabout, we can see the Pere Anguera Library building. We now turn to the right, along Carrer de M. Aurèlia Capmany, until we find the entrance to Mas Iglesias park.
Inside the Mas Iglesias park we will find, first of all, the Plaça de Ramon Amigó, and right in front a children's play area; in the center, president of the space, is the Mas Iglesias building, headquarters of the CIMIR. Behind the Mas is the park, which houses the installations of the rose garden dedicated to the memory of Joaquima Gallissà.
We leave the park and arrive at Avinguda de Salou, which we continue in a northerly direction to return to the city center. On the right we see the unmistakable silhouette of Plaça del Canal, then the bus station. We continue along Avinguda del Presidente Macià until we cross Avinguda de Bellissens and we stop for a while at Plaça de Pau Picasso, from where we can once again admire the smokestack of Gas Reusense. From here, continue along Avinguda de Marià Fortuny to the intersection with Carrasco i Formiguera, right in front of the Guàrdia Urbana police station, which takes us back to the starting point of the route.
