Subsidies for sports activity

Reus City Council grants subsidies to sports organizations that develop their activity in Reus and to projects of sporting interest in the city.

Each year, the criteria and objectives that are followed for the granting of these subsidies are marked, in four modalities:

  • Basic sport
  • Participation in regular sports activities
  • Extraordinary sports activities
  • Transport

In order to qualify for a grant, interested entities must formalize their request, through the corresponding procedure, which is published on the electronic site, within the deadlines specified in each call.

Sports and City Awards

The Sports and City Awards, which are convened by the Sports Council, annually recognize athletes and entities linked to the city that have stood out during the season. The awards corresponding to eight different categories are presented at the Sports Day gala in September.

The sports organizations of the municipality, the regional, Catalan or state federations or any other social and sporting body may propose the candidacy or candidacies for any of the types of awards. Candidate proposals must be submitted through the corresponding procedure, which is published on the electronic site, within the deadlines specified in each call.
