The Festivals calendar marks an important part of the city's cultural programming. The consolidation of the programming means that Reus has festivals all year round, three of them of a marked international nature and therefore with external projection, such as the circus, mime and film festivals.

The festivals of Reus have become a cultural reference in our country, which, definitively consolidated and widely endorsed by the public, fill the spaces appointment after appointment.

El Trapezi, the Circus Fair in Catalonia
It has become an obligatory point of reference in the world of festivals and more specifically in the world of the circus. More than a hundred companies, a thousand artists, dozens of programmers and five days of dormant activity are some of the particularities of the history of this fair. It is celebrated in May. El Cos, International Festival of Movement and Gestural Theater of Reus
It is celebrated every autumn with the aim of filling the city with bodies and objects in motion. State and international companies consider it an obligatory point of reference when launching their latest proposals. The website of the festival is www.cosreus.cat.

Short European Film Festival
The Film Festival dedicated to short European fiction films «breus», takes over at the FEC Festival, with the City Council's desire to continue offering the public the best shorts produced in Europe. The first edition takes place from 21 to 23 March 2019 and the Bartrina Theater is the main stage.

The breus Festival 2019 has a section dedicated to the exhibition of short films, an amateur competition for the creation of one-minute shorts «Crea breus», the children's session «Mini breus» and a creation workshop.
 

Summer festivals (summer in the fresh air)
Programming for small and medium-sized children in spaces in the city where stories for adults, poetry, music, dance, the latest cinematographic productions and the most alternative concerts take center stage.

Memorimage Festival
International festival of a competitive nature focused on films that incorporate archive footage in motion. It advocates the importance of the recovery and conservation of audiovisual heritage and the value of the image in shaping individual and collective memory. ArReus
Music festival to get to know and discover other musics and cultures, in a context that is not only musical and playful but also of human contact, solidarity, cooperation between people and people. It is celebrated in La Palma during the month of September.

Contemporary Festival
