Cal Massó Art Center

The Cal Massó Art Center is an experimental and multidisciplinary space, located in an old liquor factory and intended to be a meeting point and projection of new creators and new trends in contemporary culture.
Inaugurated in 2007, with the opening of the room as a result of the first phase of the rehabilitation of the old Massó distillery, the good response from the public icreadors has made it possible to carry out the expansion project. The available space has tripled (it now has more than 800m2) and the entire building, built at the beginning of the XNUMXth century and attributed to the architect Pere Caselles, has been adapted as a contemporary art center .
After a few years in which the management of the Cal Massó Art Center has been in the hands of private cultural managers with a concession model for the equipment, Reus City Council is reclaiming this space to carry out a contemporary programming, with a special focus on local creation, and with the desire to be a meeting point for artists and programmers, as for example during the Fira del Circ de Catalunya Trapezi Reus.
