Mas Carandell launches the Professional Guidance Unit (UOP) of the Aula Mentor Program, a resource created by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, which is aimed at people over 18 years who want to improve their employment and/or professional situation, and which until December expects to serve a minimum of 350 people.

The aim of the UOPs is to offer personalized professional guidance to improve employability through the process of official accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience and/or non-regulated training. The UOP of Mas Carandell will also be informed of the most suitable training route to follow depending on the needs and interests of each user, and awareness will be raised about the advantages of accreditation and the permanent need for professional qualification and requalification .

The Councilor for Business and Employment, Carles Prats, explains that the UOP Mentor de Mas Carandell is one of the 7 that currently exist in Catalonia, and is committed to making information, resources and options available to citizens to develop and advance in one's own future professional path. The support will be close and personalized, a much appreciated feature that characterizes other Mas Carandell services.

Mas Carandell's UOP Mentor is also aimed at companies, so that they can inform themselves and start the skills accreditation procedure as a group. Thus, apart from the possibility of officially certifying the skills of the workforce, organizations can obtain benefits such as identifying talent, promoting the implementation of the management model based on skills, and adapting the training plan, among others.

The Vocational Orientation Units (100 throughout the Spanish State) are a project directly linked to the deployment of the Vocational Training Laws and the new model of the Comprehensive Vocational Training system (initial VT, VT for employment, VT continuous and Accreditation of professional skills).
