Festivals and traditions
Popular festivals and traditions are signs of identity and cultural manifestations that are part of a town's history.

Reus is a city very rich in traditions and when there is a party, the residents of Reus actively participate.
The Festa Major de Sant Pere, declared a Heritage Festival of National Interest in 2010, is the highlight of the city's festive calendar and is celebrated on June 29. Traditional events and a wide range of fun, festive and musical activities make up a program that makes the city live the party intensely. The second Major Festival of Reus is the Festes de Misericordia, on September 25, and lies in the belief of the appearance of Our Lady of Misericordia in La Pastoreta, named Isabel Besora, in 1592.
The associative world is very important and alive in Reus, and it results in various entities that are the focus of cultural activities: castellers, diables, giants, traditional dances, sardanas and traditional music.
