City of Reus Award

El City of Reus Award for children's choirs convened by the IM Reus Cultura aims to:

  • Promote musical creation
  • Provide choirs and music schools with repertoire adapted to current aesthetics

The call is biannual and international in scope, it is aimed at people linked to musical creation and pedagogy, and does not involve any type of payment in terms of registration rights.

The verdict of the jury and the awarding of the prizes will be made public during the Children's Choir Meeting held in Reus. The award-winning compositions will be published in the Virtual Songbook that you will find on this same website. In the attached files, you can consult and download the history of the awardees, as well as the latest published rules for the City of Reus Award for children's choirs.
